Why Season 4 Works (so far), Queen Charlotte, and why Bridgerton isn't out of the woods yet!

My lords, ladies, and gentle-thems - we are FINALLY talking about Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1. In my opinion, we are so back (as the kids say)! Why Season 4.1 is cooking with the original recipe again, and how this is showing up in the aesthetics and subplots especially.

BUT.

While Queen Charlotte is the BEST series in the Bridgerton Cinematic Universe and Season 4 is cooking again, I think that even in returning to its roots Bridgerton isn't out of the woods yet. Why the Netflix business model is getting in the way of itself, and why it and a lot of other companies need to learn lessons from hits like Heated Rivalry about how audiences want to EXPERIENCE the romance genre in visual mediums.

'm also going to make a lot of inappropriate jokes because at this point I'd been talking for over an hour and a half without a script and was clearly getting a bit punchy.
